Question: h is strong reducing agent than h2 why?
H is a stronger reducing agent than H2 because oxygen is a more electronegative element than sulphur, which results in stronger hydrogen bonding between hydrogen and oxygen. Due to which water is found in liquid state at room temperature. At the same time, the Ksheed Wonder Waal force is found between hydrogen sulfide, due to which this gas is formed.
